A test blog to see if I have any staying power . . . .

Spending my first summer hours long weekend half way up the Central Coast at Morro Bay.

A lovely evening in southern California for getting a bite to eat at the local farmers market.

Went to the new SB in Covina on Sunday and hung out for quite a while just reading and chatting - nice relaxing way to get ready for the onslaught of Monday!

Well, I finally made it - 3 or 4 hours late - at least . . . . . now for the long drive home - at least there won't be any LA traffic - I hope!

I had to go to NJ to visit the Mother Shop and decided to try and go through Philly . . . didn't work out as well as I would have liked - air traffic out of PHL is easily delayed - took a loooong time to get home.
This is that last photo that I had on my phone - now they're all gone and I con move on to other subjects!
Last week I was in New Orleans to do some work, but got a chance to get outside of the hotel (for once!). It was a beautiful day to walk along the river.
I was so busy using my 'real' digicam, I forgot all about my camera phone . . and forgot to post any fun shots to my blog. The rest will have to wait until I get back home (forgot the mini-USB cable to unload the shots form my camera too).
We've been out here in Eureka Springs Arkansas for almost a week now and are just getting ready to pack up to head back home. We've had a good time seeing a very different way of life - pay for gas after you finish pumping it . . . shop keepers leaving their display carts outside after they close up - week after week, and never worry about anything missing . . people taking the time to chat and genuinely inquire how you're doing and actually listening to your answer . . . you know, real heart-land stuff!
Kevin with his new Army Helmet given to him by his Uncle Trung - this is his new favorite thing!
